"I love Needham. I want our town to have great schools today and in the years to come."
John’s Vision for Needham’s Schools --
"The best education that we can afford."
• Performance Budgeting -- A clear, understandable budget that sets academic priorities.
• Make Facility Decisions with the Children as Top Priority -- Address enrollment growth now and in the future by building what will best serve children’s educational needs. We need to address middle school overcrowding immediately, but are 3 school transitions in 4 years really in a child’s best interest?
• Curriculum Review -- Strengthen the focus on core academic areas and reassess the "Investigations" mathematics program.
